Water Clarity: Gin Clear Water Temp: 86 Current Level:  909.41 (Conservation Pool: 909.0 ft. msl)

Largemouth Bass:  Fair to 8 lbs. on disco violet Zoom super flukes, shaky rigged watermelon red Berkley thump worms or watermelon red Grande Bass megatail rattlesnakes in 8-20 feet and on Texas shad 1/4 oz. Luhr Jensen speed trap or whacky rigged watermelon big red 4" Berkley fat sinkworms in back of coves and along points in 3-12 feet.

Smallmouth Bass:  Fair to 3 lbs. on Texas craw 1/4 oz. All-Terrain finesse jigs with green pumpkin party Grande Bass mega claw trailers, whacky rigged trophy hunter Grande Bass baby rattlesnakes and watermelon red River2Sea Stand'n Yabbie 50 over rock piles and along bluffs in 12-20 feet.

White Bass:  Good trolling pearl white Bomber fat free shad or large minnows upriver and in back of major coves 4-12 feet.

Crappie:  Fair on chartreuse crappie jigs tipped with live minnows or platinum Berkley crappie nibbles around brush piles and submerged trees off main lake points and upriver in 4-20 feet.

Striped Bass:  Fair trolling bleeding tiger Rapala deep tail dancers or ghost bass Strike Pro flex phantoms, vertically jigging chartreuse/silver 1-1/2 oz. Terminator pirk minnows or perch Bagley jigging minnows on main lake points and drifting hybrid bluegill or shad around the dam at night in 15-20 feet.

Perch:  Good on red worms.

Channel Catfish:  Good on Lewis King's punch bait, shrimp dipped in blood dip bait, Big Marv's cheese bait or Secret 7 dip bait in 12-30 feet.

Blue and Yellow Catfish:  Good on trotlines and juglines baited with hybrid bluegills, comets or Redneck's soap bait in 10-30 feet.

CHOKE CANYON

Water Clarity: Stained  Water Temp: 86 degrees  Current Level: 217.05 (Conservation Pool: 220.50 ft. msl)

Largemouth Bass:  Fair early on bone Heddon 1Knocker or bone Yellow Magic magnum poppers in back of coves and later on whacky rigged watermelon magic Senkos or disco violet Zoom magnum super flukes along the edges of vegetation in 10-25 feet. Also good on Texas rigged watermelon candy V&M Bayou Giants rigged on 3/16 oz. Tru-Tungsten worm weight in 10-40 feet.

White Bass:  Fair on KT spoons, silver Rapala #5 shad raps or live minnows on main lake points in 4-12 feet.

Crappie:  Fair on chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs tipped with live minnows over brush piles and standing timber upriver in 4-12 feet. 

Channel and Blue Catfish: Good on Lewis King's punch bait or Big Marv's cheese bait in 6-20 feet and upriver on trotlines baited with Redneck's soap bait.

Yellow Catfish:  Good on trotlines baited with perch or cut shad in 10-30 feet.

LAKE AMISTAD

Water Clarity: Stained Water Temp: 86 degrees Current Level: 1122.54 ft./342.150 meters (Conservation Pool: 1117.00 ft. msl)

Largemouth Bass:  Fair early on bone Heddon 1Knocker or white River2Sea rovers in back of coves. Also good on baby bass V&M hula shad or blue glimmer Yum houdini shad in 5-20 feet and motor oil red 12" Berkley power worms or gold tilapia 7" Tru-Tungsten swimbaits throughout the day in 10-25 feet.

White Bass:  Fair vertically jigging chrome Tony Accetta spoons on main lake points or in back of coves and on live minnows upriver or main lake coves in 4-12 feet. 

Striped Bass: Fair trolling silver Rapala Trolls-To-20 shad raps or drifting hybrid bluegills by the dam in 10-30 feet.

Catfish:  Fair on Lewis King's punch bait, live perch and shad in 6-30 feet.

FALCON LAKE 

Water Clarity: Stained Water Temp: 86 degrees Current Level: 305.95 ft./93.255 meters (Conservation Pool: 301.2 ft. msl)

Largemouth Bass: Good early on white River2Sea rovers or bone Heddon super spooks in back of coves and later on shaky rigged watermelon chartreuse 12" Berkley power worms or Falcon Special Pour Man's jigs and Carolina rigged watermelon blue flash Zoom magnum super flukes around timber and main lake points in 10-25 feet. Also good on 3/16 oz. shakyhead jig rigged with watermelon magic Zoom Ole Monster worms in 20-40 feet.

Crappie: Fair on live minnows, white crappie jigs or black shad Berkley power minnows.

Channel/Blue Catfish: Fair on Lewis King's punch bait, Big Marv's cheese bait or Secret 7 dip bait.

Yellow Catfish: Fair on trotlines baited with live perch in 20-30 feet.
